Raised on a chicken farm in rural Minnesota, Peter always possessed a strange fascination with death and decay. As soon as he got the opportunity, he got the hell off of that farm, and never looked back. Studying forensics at the first college that would take him, He met his wife Loraine. His young adult life could only be described as a whirlwind, and once it ended, he realized he never had a chance to figure himself out. He met his best friend Charles his last year of college, and fell in love.But some things just aren't meant to be.
20 years later, His wife and him have recently decided to split once their daughter's school year ends, and until his apartment lease starts, he's content with inspecting cadavers and avoiding his ex wife. But what happens when the bodies he analyzes begin to show a disturbing pattern, one that his beloved daughter Sadie will unwillingly get swept into?Peter's birthday is September 21st, 1959.
Lorraine Ruth Smith, 42
Lorraine--Or Lori, as she likes to be called, was born into a comfortable, but very traditional and conservative family. They expected her to be a wife, mother, and homemaker like all the other women who had come before her. And while Lori wanted to be a mother, she knew she would feel an absence for the rest of her life if she didn't apply her intelligence in the workforce. Despite her family refusing to help her financially, she persevered and worked two jobs while she got a degree in medicine. Due to the time period and her being one of the only women at her college, she was often the target of ridicule by her male peers. Except one. She bonded with Peter through college, both because he was friendly and because he shared a love for science fiction and literature. They married shortly after graduation and Lori got a career in nursing. Lori now realizes it wasn't love they felt. She and Peter have divorced and are biding their time until their daughter's school year ends.Lori's birthday is April 9th, 1960.
Sadie Eloise Grant, 15 1/2
Sadie, much like her mother and father, is a very intelligent girl with lots of promise. She's not very liked, but isn't hated either. She loves her small group of friends and often spends her time LARPing with them or practicing for band.
Meeting her best friend Adam at the age of 6, the two soon became inseparable, Adam later introducing her to his cousin Milly and then meeting their newest addition Val In their middle school band class. Her friends are endlessly supportive of her, and share her love of sci-fi and fantasy and her and her friends regularly host DnD nights, social stigma be damned. She loves Star Trek(Just like her father), the color pink, and her cat Roger.Sadie's Birthday is Febuary 14th, 1987.
Charles Thomas Ellis, 42
Born and raised in his small farm town alongside his two loving parents and older sister, He is a well-liked resident of his community, inheriting his father's mechanic shop in his mid-20s, co-owning it with his older sister Jennifer following the birth of his two kids and his divorce. While he considers his sister to be his best friend, He's incredibly close with his friend Peter. During his free time, he likes painting, tinkering, fishing, and embarrassing his children. he currently resides in his hometown and during the summer his kids return from college and work for him.Charles' birthday is January 15th, 1960
Arthur Walter Wiltfang, 50
Always an intelligent and charming individual, Arthur grew up in southern Iowa on a farming plot his family owned. His upbringing is none of your business.Much like Peter, he moved out as soon as possible and joined the army, leaving his high school sweetheart Ophelia to hold the fort down while he was away. After being injured to the point where he couldn't serve, he was discharged and sent back home to recover. Once he returned, He and Ophelia worked odd jobs while he attended university and started their family. after years of sacrifice, he became a Detective, moved up to Minnesota, bought a modest farmhouse, and began his work. He is currently investigating the missing children's cases in his county. He seems like a normal, well-adjusted family man. But, didn't he have 3 kids...?Arthur's birthday is November 25th, 1952.
Ophelia Marina Wiltfang, 49
Originally from New Jersey, Ophelia's family moved often due to her father's job in transportation. She met Arthur in high school, and it was love at first sight. They agreed that she would work and save money while Arthur was in the military, as she always dreamed of owning a salon. After he was discharged they both continued working and taking care of their... 2 kids? ..didn't they have another?
They moved to Minnesota in 1993 and Ophelia officially started her business.Ophelia's birthday is July 28th, 1953 (And she doesn't look a day over 25!).
Cassidy Michelle WIltfang, 11
A quiet girl by nature, Cass is a shy child who is usually seen by her mother's side. Because of special health needs, she is homeschooled, and the pride and joy of her parents, much to the envy of her older brother Frances. Despite his torment, she knows he's the only sibling she has, and spends all the time she can with him. She has a vested interest in insects and likes keeping them as pets.Cass's birthday is October 19th, 1991.
Frances Jaime Wiltfang, 15
Frances is an intelligent and stubborn child just like his father and is a total suck-up to him, willing to do anything to get his attention and approval. As a result, he isn't exactly the nicest to anyone other than him. He envies his younger sister Cass for the attention she gets from their parents. He has no real friends, and if you ask, he'll say he likes it that way. He likes to draw and listen to music in his spare time, basing his style off the shows he watches and the people he knows/knew. He is still figuring himself out.Frances's birthday is March 10th, 1987.
Mike Steele, 25
Mike is a lazy, chill guy who has a love for rebellion and a hatred for authority, which is probably why he doesn't take anything seriously, including his band and manager job.
Agreeable and friendly towards most everyone, he gets along with other people easily. Growing up in a sanitized and sheltered home in the lower midwest, He was kicked out by his father at the age of 16. After surviving an abusive relationship, he set off with his then-girlfriend Nicole and resorted to doing what he needed to get by. They broke up years ago, but he credits her with saving his life, and still keeps in touch to this day. He met Styxx hitchhiking to Minnesota while they and their family were returning from a road trip. after his journey ended, him and Styxx became close friends and later lovers. After being introduced to Styxx's friends and fitting in perfectly, they formed a band. After 8 straight hours of arguing, they agreed on the name "The Dicktwists".
him and Styxx rent an apartment together and are getting by alright. His younger self wouldn't believe how well he's doing nowadays, despite his many, many regrets.Mike's birthday is June 12th, 1977.
Styxx, 26
Styxx is a punk in every sense of the word. Not in just terms of fashion, either, They are a huge advocate for others and a staunch leftist.
Growing up on a reservation in northern Minnesota with their mother and father, their upbringing was loving and very focused on art and music. When Styxx was around 14, Their mother died unexpectedly while giving birth to their little brother Shilo. Their small family was rocked by this loss, and Styxx overtook a lot of responsibility in their mother's absence, both working to support their family and learning sign language to properly communicate with their little brother, who was born deaf. This part of their life was stressful, but they remained close as ever with their father and Shilo. Their father kept his immense love for music and even as the family overcame this horrible change, he still took the time to teach Styxx to play guitar and the drums, leading to their role in Mike's band. Styxx has a manager job in retail they hate while they figure out what they want to do long-term. They live farther away from their family than they'd like, but they take a few days off every month to visit them. The Dicktwists consists of Chris (Lead singer and guitar), Mike (Guitar and backup), Ronnie (Bass, backup), and Styxx (Drums)Styxx's birthday is December 3rd, 1976.
Frankie Ana Hernandez, 17
Always lighthearted and caring, Frankie Hernandez is an incredibly smart and responsible teenager with a bright future ahead of them. They started working at their store earlier in the year for extra spending money, but recently accepted to college, she started working more often to earn money for their tuition early. Meeting Mike early into their work, the two instantly got along, spending almost all of their working time together and slacking off. Outside of work she’s a valued member of their highschool track team, and has an interest in biology. They hope to move in with their girlfriend Layla after college.Frankie's birthday is May 24th, 1985.

Morris Monroe, 35
Morris Monroe was born in 1950 to a loving albeit stern family in a Colorado mountain town. They expected hard work out of him and he was ready to give it; he excelled in school and decided to pursue work in the police academy after graduating.Morris met his wife Emiri in a neighboring mountain town, and it wasnt long before the two were ready to marry and settle together. They stayed in Colorado where they had their first child, Cedar, in 1973, followed by their son Benjamin in 1978. Morris continued to work as a police officer until he was eventually promoted to detective, which had been his dream job for quite a while.In 1984 the family was rocked by a tragic car accident that killed their youngest, Benny. Unable to remain in the mountains clouded by the negative associations, Morris, Emiri and Cedar moved North to Minnesota, where Morris continued his work as a detective once they settled again.Morris' birthday is August 25th, 1967.
